THE COLOR HUNTER
words by Meredith Chamberlain

In a rough patch of thorns
A lone flower did glow
Bright yellow, like starlight
he had to follow
Lush petals, fine pollen
He leaned in to embrace
This beautiful thing
in the midst of no place.
Remember that beauty
is wherever you are
Among the thorns and cracks
It's seldom that far.
